In order to use AutoPASS you need an AutoPASS contract and an AutoPASS On-Board Unit (OBU) – a tag. The AutoPASS contract can be obtained from the companies operating the EFC systems. The user will only need one contract. If you have a BroBizz from the Øresund Crossing or the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark, you can draw up an AutoPASS-agreement on your BroBizz.
Each toll road is operated by a Toll Road Operator. Most Toll Road Operators offer their services on the Internet. On the map you will find all the different Toll Road Operators within the AutoPASS system.
Most of the Toll Road Operators also offer their services on petrol stations nearby.
Prices
The prices vary from toll road to toll road. There’s a NOK 200,- deposit on the tag.
The Tag
The tag is an electronic device installed by the user inside the vehicle, i.e. fixed to the windscreen behind the mirror. The id on the tag is connected to the cars registration number. It can not be moved between cars without notifying the Toll Road Operator.
